The Jeep® Wrangler helps protect you and your companions with active/passive safety and security features, including Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection, Parkview rear back up camera with dynamic grid lines, front and rear parking sensors, Electronic Stability Control, Antilock Brake System (ABS), Brake Assist, four standard airbags, body-on-frame construction and more.
Manoeuvrability with a helping hand
The Jeep Wrangler helps protect you and your companions with active/passive safety and security features. Electronic stability control is an advanced system designed to help the driver maintain control of the vehicle at all times. It detects oversteer or understeer situations, then applies the brakes individually and modulates the accelerator to bring the vehicle back on track. The electronic anti-roll device can predict if the vehicle is exposed to a roll situation, and then apply the brakes to reduce the likelihood of an accident.
Braking Power
Jeep Wrangler offers All-Speed Traction Control with special calibrations for driving in 4LO, a Brake Assist System and Four-Wheel Disc anti-lock Brake System (ABS) to improve vehicle control and decreasing stopping distances on dry or slippery surfaces.
Trailer Sway Control
As part of the Electronic Stability Control, Trailer Sway Control helps to keep you (and whatever you’re towing) on course and under control.
The Wrangler’s available parking features make pulling in and backing out as simple as can be.
Whether you’re backing up to a campsite, putting a boat in the water or trying to squeeze into a tight spot, the ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera with dynamic grid lines coupled with the Uconnect® touchscreen make it easier than ever.
Wrangler Overland comes with Rear Cross Path Detection, helping you back out of parking spaces when other vehicles block your view. When you shift into reverse, sensors scan for vehicles and/or objects crossing your path – the system alerts you with a lighted icon (shown in the exterior mirror). The sensors located in the rear bumper detect obstacles behind you and sound an alert when you get too close to a potential hazard when parallel parking or backing into a parking spot.
